The Black Church: The Root of the Problems of the Black Community. If you are easily offended or defensive when it comes to examining Christianity then perhaps this book is not for you. But if you are a truth seeker then you ought to at least read this book to provide yourself another perspective not from one outside the church, but from one who grew up inside the church and professes to have a profound love for Black people. He’s no “hater.” His words are not angry or bittersweet rather they are compassionate, yet critical.
